I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2015 and have been fortunate to have worked with children and young adults with a wide variety of needs within educational settings and their home environments. I also have the pleasure of being a Mum to two young adults, one of whom has additional needs. I feel that my professional training and my lived experience of raising a child with multiple needs, helps me to see things from a variety of perspectives and motivates me to do everything I can to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people that I support. I appreciate the challenges faced by parents and believe in promoting a holistic approach by working in collaboration with them to ensure interventions are realistic and goals are achievable.
I enjoy learning new things and love an adventure, especially if it involves travelling, being outdoors or food! My goal in life is to have as much fun as I can and to try to bring some of that fun into the lives of those I meet.
