Water sports

We offer a selection of water sports to help a child/young person develop a skill alongside a trusted mentor. These allow a child/young person to build their confidence, self esteem and improve their emotional wellbeing.

 

Some of the sessions we offer are Paddle boarding, Kayaking, wind surfing and more. 

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Exmouth is a fantastic location for paddle boarding especially if you are a novice. Nic at Esteem Team is a qualified SUP coach and very enthusiastic paddle boarder who loves to take young people out to enjoy the sport. The benefits of paddle boarding are numerous not just for health and well being but it’s such great fun.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is not only great fun but can also enhance your health and well-being in numerous ways. Here are just a few of them:

·         Reduces stress – The powerful combination of being out on the water, enjoying nature, socialising with other paddlers and enjoying the indescribable sensation of standing on water is an amazing stress reducer.

 

Stand Up Paddlers almost unanimously report a feeling of well-being after going for a paddle but without the need for intense exertion.
